The Floralias were ancient Roman festivals dedicated to Flora, the goddess of blooming, spring, and fertility. They were celebrated from late April to early May and were marked by joyful rituals that included games, theatrical performances, and dances.
Inspiration and Vision:
In a country rich in history and tradition, we invite you to look at the past to design the present. This workshop is created as an opportunity to draw inspiration from an ancient celebration and explore floral design as a dynamic and experimental art form. Through collaborative exercises, guided discussions, and direct practice, participants will have the freedom to experiment with materials, textures, and shapes. This holistic approach aims not only at technical growth but also at a renewed vision of each participant's creative potential.
The photographer Silvia Poropat will document the course days and take photos of your floral works, providing an accurate visual testimony of the creative process.
